High Flight Academy has announced a major step forward in supporting the next generation of pilots: students can now apply for the Sallie Mae® Airline Career Loan to help finance their flight training. This new opportunity positions High Flight Academy alongside other aviation schools nationwide that offer access to this trusted financial resource.
By offering access to the Sallie Mae® Airline Career Loan, High Flight Academy is expanding access to professional pilot careers and easing the financial burden for students who may find upfront training costs out of reach.

In conjunction with the financing launch, Flight Schedule Pro, High Flight Academy’s trusted scheduling interface, is developing new tracking tools and a comprehensive metrics dashboard tailored for High Flight Academy. These updates will allow flight school administration to closely monitor each student’s progress, identify bottlenecks, and optimize training outcomes.
“This is about more than just financing,” said Robert Ferree, CEO of High Flight Academy. “We’re investing in tools and systems that streamline operations for our school and give students a clear, data-backed path to the cockpit.”
This transformation has already led to internal changes at High Flight Academy. Congratulations to Grace Dempsey, who is stepping into a new role as Scheduler and Student Coordinator. In this role, Grace will focus on helping students stay on track with their training goals and make full use of the new tools now available.
With financing, technology, and student support now aligned, High Flight Academy is reinforcing its commitment to delivering efficient, goal-oriented flight training that opens doors for future aviation professionals.
