Liberty University Expands VA Benefits Access for Flight Students at High Flight Academy

An Accelerated Path to an Aviation Degree

Liberty University has long partnered with High Flight Academy to offer students an accelerated path to an aviation degree. Through Liberty’s flexible, year-round, online Bachelor of Science in Aviation program, students can earn their degree in as little as 3.5 years—even with no prior flight experience—while completing their flight training at High Flight Academy here in Butler, Pennsylvania. Graduates of the program are eligible for Restricted Airline Transport Pilot minimums, allowing them to transition to commercial aviation roles more quickly than traditional pathways.

Did Liberty University Expand Its VA Benefits Access for Flight Students to Include Instrument Rating and Commercial Pilot Certification?

Now, there’s even more reason for veterans and military-affiliated students to pursue their aviation goals through this partnership. Liberty University expanded its VA benefits access for flight students to include instrument rating and commercial pilot certification, reducing out-of-pocket expenses for veterans and military-affiliated students pursuing professional pilot careers. This partnership supports greater affordability and access for those who’ve served, further reinforcing the program’s commitment to helping students launch their aviation careers with strong academic, financial and flight training support.
